Job summary

Providence Health & Services in Oregon City is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, delivering excellent service and acting as the liaison between patients and providers to ensure a smooth experience.

You will perform front and back office duties, including scheduling, registration, insurance verification, updating demographics and EPIC workflow adherence, with opportunities in a float pool that offers premium float pay and mileage

Qualifications

1 year of experience in medical/healthcare setting.
Experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors in person and by phone.
Act as a liaison between patients, providers, and care teams to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Perform front and back-office duties, including scheduling, registration, insurance verification, updating demographic information and patient support.
Maintain clinic efficiency through accurate documentation and adherence to workflows within the electronic medical record (EPIC).
Demonstrate growth and proficiency in supporting Providence's mission of compassionate, high-quality care.
