Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will handle service requests, preventative maintenance, and the make-ready process for vacants, while managing inventory and documenting work for traceability.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and compliance with safety policies.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
• State and Local certifications as required for Service Technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policy and safety standards.
• Perform make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections and punch lists.
• Manage materials by tracking inventory, returning unused items, and notifying supervisor for reorders.
• Document work requests accurately to ensure traceability and reporting.
• Support grounds and common areas upkeep, basic cleaning, and painting as needed.
