Job summary

Avenue5 Residential in Henderson, NV is seeking a Floating Maintenance Technician to maintain apartment and property upkeep while delivering exceptional resident service.

You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and landscape tasks, respond to emergencies, follow safety rules, and keep work orders on schedule. Applicants should have a high school diploma and at least one year in property management, with a valid driver’s license and multitasking ability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or directly related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform various maintenance functions including repairs to electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds maintenance.
• Perform general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, ceramic tile repair.
• Proactive preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, elevator and more.
• Maintain work order system and ensure orders are completed to standard and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and amenities to maintain safety and cleanliness and identify issues.
• Assist with property emergencies (snow, fires, floods) and communicate with leadership.
• Observe and promote safety and risk management.
