Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Floating Lead Maintenance who oversees property maintenance under the Community Manager and performs repairs in resident apartments, assisting in make-ready units.

The role covers HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and preventive maintenance, plus supervising subcontractors and maintaining records. A minimum of two years’ experience, English fluency, and EPA certification are required, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of full-time maintenance experience in apartments or related trade.
• Strong verbal and written English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Own a basic set of hand tools and a valid driver's license.
• Willing to travel within metro areas and work some weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Replace filters and HVAC components; perform related repairs.
• Perform light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks.
• Refurbish apartments prior to occupancy (make-ready).
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate with the property manager.
• Maintain records of work orders and inventory.
