Job summary

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating repairs, preparing budgets, responding to emergencies, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and Fair Housing laws. High school diploma and EPA 608 certification required; valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 2+ years of supervisory experience (required).
• 3+ years of multi-family or commercial maintenance experience (required).
• EPA Sec 608 Certification (Type I/II or Universal) required.
• Budget awareness: monitor expenditures and implement corrective actions.
• Train and schedule maintenance staff; ensure policy adherence.
• Familiar with plumbing, HVAC, electrical, tile, carpentry, and make-ready.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be on-call and able to climb ladders; lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect grounds, building, and community features daily for hazards.
• Oversee maintenance, make-readies, and rehab projects for quality and efficiency.
• Maintain stocked shop and adhere to safety standards.
• Schedule, supervise, and train maintenance staff under supervision.
• Monitor progress, report to stakeholders, and provide on-call support.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and OSHA regulations.
