Job summary

Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet in Joliet, IL seeks an Internal Registry RN for a 12-week assignment. You will float to multiple units, deliver direct patient care, and lead patient/family teaching while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements include active RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS as applicable, and Tremendous focus on safety and quality. Shift options include nights and days; compensation is $57.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Active state RN license required.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications as specified on hire and maintained.
• NRP and Fetal monitoring/AWHONN training where applicable.
• TNCC within 12 months for ED float assignments.
• BSN preferred; ability to float to two or more units.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Float RN can be assigned to two or more units and must maintain competency.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice and guide patient/family teaching.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and document results.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
