Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet seeks an Internal Registry RN for a PRN assignment in Joliet, IL. The Floating RN may cover two or more units, delivering direct patient care and coordinating with physicians as patient conditions evolve.

The RN will practice safety, maintain confidentiality, and support patient/family education while rotating nights and days. The 12-week assignment offers competitive hourly pay.

Formación

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (ARC/AHA) certification required.
• ACLS (ARC/AHA) certification within 30 days.
• PALS (ARC/AHA) certification within 30 days when floating to ER/OR/PACU/Day Patient.
• NRP and Basic Fetal Monitoring or AWHONN within 90 days for Women’s Services floats.
• TNCC within 12 months when floating to Emergency Department.
• BSN preferred.
• Able to float to two or more units and maintain competency.

Responsabilidades

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Float RN can be assigned to two or more units and will maintain competency to practice.
• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice and guides patient/family teaching.
• Directly responsible and accountable for care on assigned unit and communicates with physician about changes.
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition and protects patient privacy.

Conocimientos

NRP / Fetal Monitoring knowledge
