Conemaugh Nason Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for its Float Pool. This full-time role involves cross-unit coverage (Med/Surg, ICU, ER) with 3x12 shifts and rotating nights. Eligible candidates can receive a bonus of up to $20,000.

The Float Pool emphasizes autonomy, ongoing professional growth, and strong clinical leadership. Qualified applicants will hold an RN license in Pennsylvania or a current MSL, have an Associate's degree (BSN preferred), and possess BLS; ACLS/PALS

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ACLS or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PALS or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in Pennsylvania or a current multistate license (MSL).

Responsibilities

• Float to open positions in Med/Surg, ICU and ER as needed.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Educates patient and family appropriate to age and culture.
• Coordinates patient care with other disciplines and handles transfers/discharges.
• Administers medications and IV therapies; monitors effects.
• Discharges planning with physician, patient, and family; ensures self-care understanding.
