Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as a critical care RN in the United States (Required)
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing (Required)
• Pennsylvania RN licensure (Required)
• BLS/CPR as a healthcare provider from the American Heart Association (Required)
• ACLS and telemetry experience is preferred (Optional)

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care through the application of the nursing process and assumes accountability for the nursing care of assigned patients from infancy to the elderly.
• Collaborates with an interprofessional health care team to coordinate care across the continuum.
• Demonstrates competencies in Continuous Quality Improvement, Evidence Based Practice, Leadership, and Professionalism.
• Works with the team to promote patient safety, education, and family-centered care.
• Adapts to staffing needs across hospital units and upholds Penn Medicine policies and procedures.
