Conemaugh Nason Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool. This role covers Med/Surg, ICU, and ER across units, offering flexibility and broad clinical exposure.

You will deliver nursing care, document outcomes, and support discharge planning while maintaining high standards of patient safety. Qualified candidates hold an RN license in PA or a multi-state license, with 3–5 years of nursing experience and BLS; ACLS/PALS within 6 months may be required.

Qualifikationen

• RN graduates with active PA or multi-state license (MSL) from compact states.
• Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• BLS mandatory; ACLS/PALS within 6 months if not current.

Aufgaben

• Float to open positions in Med/Surg, ICU and ER as needed.
• Document patient care provided.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and medications.
• Coordinate discharge planning with care team and family.
• Administer meds and IV therapies safely and accurately.
• Report staffing, supply or equipment needs to management.
