Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Float Phlebotomist (Flex Lab Services Specialist) to provide venipuncture and clinical support across multiple offices in the Fairfax, VA area. You will join a patient-centered team reporting to the Operations Manager, contributing to both local office care and district-wide workflows.

The role emphasizes high-quality specimen collection, patient comfort, and collaboration with providers and administrative staff.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of relevant experience as Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with typing and using multiple software systems.
• Experience collaborating with diverse, multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ability to deliver patient-centered, humane care.

Responsibilities

• Provide venipuncture services from pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Assist with extended scope duties: non-blood collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, vaccines, swabs.
• Maintain proper specimen labeling, handling, and processing.
• Support providers and virtual team with clerical tasks and patient follow-up.
• Master technology suite: Slack, G Suite, Zoom, and EMR 1Life.
