Job summary

Labcorp in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team. This role offers exposure to multiple sites and patient populations, with a schedule Monday–Friday 6:00am–7:00pm and rotating Saturdays.

You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques and gain broad, hands-on experience across locations. The position emphasizes customer service, data entry, and specimen processing, with opportunities for incentive pay: PST Incentive Plan quarterly bonus and

Qualifications

Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
Experience as a phlebotomist is preferred.
Pass a color blindness test and have a valid driver's license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
Process billing information and collect payments.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
