Job summary

One Medical is hiring a Float Phlebotomist (Flex Lab Services Specialist) to deliver high-quality venipuncture and support clinical teams across offices. You will collect specimens, assist with extended scope tasks, and ensure precise labeling and processing in a patient-centric environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and multiple software applications.
• Experience collaborating with diverse, multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with extended scope care including non-blood specimen collection and processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best in class venipuncture services for patients across a broad age range.
• Assist with extended scope duties such as non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, vaccines, PPD tests and swabs.
• Maintain high standards of specimen labeling, handling, processing, inventory upkeep and sterilization.
• Support patients beyond the lab by answering messages, following up on lab cases and assisting providers and virtual team with clerical duties.
• Master the technology suite (Slack, G-Suite, Zoom, EMR 1Life) to interact with team members and complete daily tasks.
