Job summary

Genoa Healthcare in the South Greater Boston Area is seeking a Float Pharmacist to support onsite pharmacies. You will dispense prescriptions, educate customers about medications, and deliver excellent service while adhering to state pharmacy regulations.

The role requires a Massachusetts pharmacist license and immunizer certification or eligibility within 3 months, with a daytime schedule and opportunities to work across multiple Genoa locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in Massachusetts.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
