Genoa Healthcare in Western Massachusetts is seeking a full-time Float Pharmacist to support multiple on-site pharmacies, providing prescription processing and patient counseling as part of a collaborative care team. Responsibilities include dispensing medications, offering drug information, immunization administration as allowed by state boards, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws.

MA pharmacist license required; immunizer certification preferred or obtainable within 3 months.

We seek a full-time Float Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. This onsite position will float between our pharmacies located in the Western Massachusetts area.

Pharmacy Locations: Springfield, West Springfield, Holyoke, Northampton, Easthampton, Greenfield, Gardner, Athol
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM; every other Saturday 9:00-3:00 in Springfield

Primary Responsibilities:

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners

• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacyor PharmD

• Current pharmacist license in state of Massachusetts

• Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire

• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Authorization to administer long-acting injectables or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.00 to $79.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
