Job summary

Genoa Healthcare is hiring a Float Pharmacist for our Western Massachusetts on-site pharmacies. This full-time role will float between sites in the Springfield area, with hours Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and select Saturdays. You will provide prescriptions, patient counseling, and immunizations where allowed.

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD or B.Pharm, a Massachusetts license, and immunization certification (or plans to obtain). Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in state of Massachusetts.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
