Job summary

Genoa Healthcare seeks a full-time Float Pharmacist to support multiple on-site pharmacies in the North Greater Boston Area, including Chelsea. The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no nights or weekends, and the pharmacist will float between Boston-area locations.

Responsibilities include dispensing prescriptions, advising customers on medications, and immunization administration where allowed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD is required.
• Current pharmacist license in Massachusetts is required.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become one within 3 months of hire.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administer immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Performs other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
