Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Float Pharmacist to support our in-clinic pharmacies around the South Greater Boston Area. The position offers daytime hours, no nights or weekends, and a focus on accurate dispensing, patient education, and high-quality service.

The role requires a PharmD or pharmacy degree and an active MA license with immunization certification; Rhode Island license is a plus.

We seek a full-time Float Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. This onsite position will float between our pharmacies located in the South Greater Boston Area.

Pharmacy Locations: Boston, Charlestown, Quincy, Brockton, Milford, Marlborough, New Bedford
Hours: Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm, no nights, weekends, or holidays

Primary Responsibilities:

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacyor PharmD
• Current pharmacist license in state of Massachusetts
• Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current pharmacist license in state of Rhode Island or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Authorization to administer long-acting injectables or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.09 to $78.70 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
