Job summary

InvestedintheMission seeks a Flight Training Manager to supervise and develop the MUAS Jump20 training program, combining classroom learning, simulators, and field ops. You will build rapport with the instruction team and oversee schedules, budgets, and safety compliance.

The role requires leading 8–15 instructors, coordinating cross-functional training activities, and expanding program capabilities. Occasional international/domestic travel up to 80% is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related area or equivalent years of training experience.
  • 5+ years of technical adult learning and education program experience.
  • 5+ years of personnel management experience.
  • Experience in manned/unmanned aviation (Operator/Pilot/Flight Engineer/Mechanic).
  • Strong knowledge of learning techniques.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
  • Proven ability to manage, lead and motivate a team.
  • Project management and customer service skills for multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with office software and flight software.
  • Willingness for long/short-term travel (CONUS/OCONUS).
  • Active Secret Security Clearance, or ability to obtain one.
  • English-language literacy.
  • US Passport obtainable.
  • Be able to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a cohesive training team for efficient operations.
  • Manage multiple training phases across programs with 8–15 instructors.
  • Assist Field Operations with hiring Field Service Representatives.
  • Refine and develop course materials and syllabi.
  • Develop and evaluate training budgets.
  • Ensure standardized instruction delivery.
  • Conduct after-action reviews for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure training area accommodates MUAS Operator Training.
  • Collaborate with product line management on flight tests and feedback.
  • Mentor staff and manage costs, methods, and staffing.
  • Interact with senior management on cross-functional matters.
  • Travel internationally & domestically up to 80%.
