Job summary

FlightSafety International in the United States seeks a Program Manager to supervise certified instructors within assigned programs, ensuring training delivery meets client needs. You will develop, modify, maintain program course material, and assist in certification of flight training devices; lead performance reviews and coordinate scheduling.

You will also drive instructor development, align with DOT/DOMT standards, and manage cross‑functional collaboration to optimize training outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent
• Three years related experience and/or training in aviation/training
• Current pilot and instructor certificates for all aircraft in the program
• A&P license preferred for Maintenance PMs

Responsibilities

• Manage daily training and checking activities of instructors and schedule changes
• Provide feedback and coaching; conduct observations; performance appraisals
• Disciplinary actions and salary recommendations within policy
• Coordinate staffing with Scheduling Specialist for training events
• Review qualifications of instructor candidates and hiring decisions
• Develop and sustain courseware, training docs, and devices
• Assist in validating flight training devices and adherence to standards
• Communicate with DOT/DOMT and customers to address training needs
