Job summary

FlightSafety International in Columbus, OH seeks a Program Manager to lead a team of certified instructors within the assigned program(s) and ensure delivery meets client needs.

You will develop, modify, and sustain course materials and assist in certifying flight training devices, supporting training delivery across multiple centers and centers worldwide through coordination with DOS/DOMS and Account Managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; business or aviation management preferred.
• 3 years’ related experience and/or training in aviation or training.
• Current pilot and instructor certificates to provide training for all aircraft within the assigned program.
• A&P license preferred for Maintenance PMs.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily training and scheduling of instructors.
• Provide timely feedback and coaching to instructors.
• Conduct observations and performance appraisals; manage development plans.
• Recommend disciplinary actions within policy and budget parameters.
• Assist Scheduling Specialist in organizing and assigning instructors to events.
• Liaise with Director/Center Manager and DOT/DOMT on staffing and program revisions.
• Develop and maintain courseware and training documentation.
