Job summary

AV is seeking a Flight Training Manager responsible for overseeing and developing the training program for the Medium Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (MUAS) Jump20. The role involves managing a cohesive training team, refining course materials, and ensuring high-quality learning experiences.

Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree, significant aviation experience, and strong leadership skills. This position will be based in California with potential relocation needed in the future.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical adult learning and education program experience.
• 5+ years of personnel management experience.
• Past experience in aviation as an Operator, Pilot, Flight Engineer, or Mechanic.
• Proven experience of delivering high-quality learning experiences.
• Ability to travel up to 25% annually.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop the Training program for MUAS Jump20.
• Execute concurrent phases of Training with a team of 8-15 instructors.
• Assist with the hiring of Field Service Representatives.
• Refine and develop course materials and budgets.
• Conduct after action reports for continuous improvement.
