Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Field Service Representative Instructor II to operate and train in Field MUAS using Jump20 platforms. You will lead demonstrations, ensure safe flight and ground operations, and support customers in field deployment.

The role involves coordinating with BD, PMs, and engineering, mentoring students, and ensuring up-to-date procedures in a dynamic team environment. Occasional travel and on-site service are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Military or aerospace industry background preferred.
• Familiar with military tactics, GPS navigation, maps and compass.
• Able to read and interpret instruction sets, diagrams and schematics.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Clean driving record and medical/dental clearance for deployment.
• Willing to travel up to 80% (CONUS/OCONUS).

Responsibilities

• Operate, instruct, and evaluate in field UAS environments.
• Conduct flight demonstrations and assist in BD and product support.
• Plan and coordinate attendees and equipment for Flight Demo Events.
• Provide on-site software/hardware upgrades and refresher training.
• Maintain safety and procedures during MUAS operations and training.
• Lead and mentor small student/instructor groups to meet course goals.
• Document operations, data collection, and after-action inputs.
• Coordinate with customers and agencies for mission readiness.
• Assist with inventory, equipment delivery, and site visits as needed.
