Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Flight Paramedic to provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care on dispatched flights. You will complete patient care records, perform base checks, and maintain competency through ongoing training.

The role requires a current EMT-P license and multiple certifications, with FP-C due within 24 months of hire. You will work as part of a medical flight team, attend pre-mission briefings, and assist with liftoff checklists and pilot duties when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a 911 or critical care setting required.
• EMT-P license/certification in states served is required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certifications required prior to flight status.
• FP-C required within 24 months of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsabilités

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic counts.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from first contact to handoff.
• Maintain competency through ongoing labs and clinical experiences.
• Document licensure, certifications, CE, safety, and procedures in Education Manual.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public.
• Serve as a medical flight team member; participate in pre-mission briefings and debriefings.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklist and pilot assists (radio, navigation, observation).
• Comply with safety standards to ensure safety of all.
