Zusammenfassung

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Flight Paramedic to join our air medical team. You will provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care during transport, perform base checks, complete EMS records, and participate in pre-mission briefings and liftoffs with the flight crew.

The role requires a current EMT-P license, NRP/trauma certs, and CPR; FP-C preferred within 24 months. Expect dynamic shifts with a focus on safety and high-quality patient care.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.

Aufgaben

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from initial contact until handoff, with thorough documentation.
• Maintain competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and procedures documentation.
• Use and maintain equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public.
• Serve as a medical flight team member and participate in pre-mission briefings and post-mission debriefings.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklist and pilot support as needed.
