Air Evac Lifeteam in Oklahoma is seeking a Flight Paramedic to provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care on dispatched flights. You will ensure complete patient care documentation and participate in ongoing training to maintain competency.

The role requires a minimum of three years in 911/critical care, EMT-P licensure in the served states, and multiple certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP). FP-C should be obtained within 24 months of hire, with instructor certifications preferred.

Formación

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• FP-C certification required within 24 months from date of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsabilidades

• Submit electronic patient care records within the specified time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotics count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from initial contact until handoff.
• Maintain competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, CE credits, safety documentation.
• Be knowledgeable in equipment use and maintenance for emergency programs.
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public.
• Function as a medical flight member.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and debriefings and complete documentation.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklist and pilot support.
• Comply with safety standards prior to liftoff.
• Conduct aircraft safety briefings as needed.
• Fill open or vacant shifts within the assigned area as directed by Regional Director.
