Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Flight Paramedic to provide advanced life support from first contact through patient handoff. You will complete electronic records, perform base checks, and participate in mission briefings.

A licensed EMT-P with several critical-care certifications is required, with FP-C within 24 months and instructor credentials preferred. You’ll work in a fast-paced EMS environment with aviation operations support.

Formación

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a 911 or critical care setting required.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C), required within 24 months from date of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsabilidades

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from initial contact to handoff.
• Maintain competency through ongoing labs and clinical experiences.
• Document licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and procedures.
• Operate and maintain EMS equipment and supplies.
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public.
• Serve as a medical flight team member and participate in mission briefs/debriefs.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklists and pilot support as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards for personnel, patients, and equipment.
