Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Flight Paramedic to join our helicopter EMS team. The role focuses on high-level prehospital and intra-hospital ALS care, rapid documentation, and strict adherence to safety and flight readiness protocols.

Starting at $20.92 per hour with additional GEO modification, candidates should have 3+ years in 911/critical care, EMT-P licensure, and FP-C readiness within 24 months, with relevant certs (BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP) prior to flight status.

Formación

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license in the states served by the area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certs required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) within 24 months from date of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsabilidades

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotics count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from initial contact to handoff.
• Maintain competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences.
• Document licensure, certifications, CE, safety, and advanced procedures in the Employee Education Manual.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and routine maintenance.
• Foster positive relationships with EMS, hospitals, and the public.
• Serve as a medical flight team member.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and debriefings and complete necessary documentation.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklist and pilot support as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards before liftoff.
• Conduct aircraft safety briefings as needed.
• Fill open or vacant shifts within assigned area as directed by the Regional Director.
