Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Flight Paramedic to provide advanced life support on helicopter missions. The position starts at $20.92 per hour plus DOE and a $4.17/hr GEO modification, with responsibilities including on-board care, meticulous documentation, and pre-mission briefings.

Applicants must have an EMT-P license, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP trauma certifications, and a FP-C within 24 months of hire. NREMT-P may be required in some regions; FAA and safety standards apply.

Qualifications

• Must have EMT-P license in states served
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP/trauma certs required prior to flight status
• FP-C required within 24 months of hire
• Instructor certs in BLS/ACLS/PALS/ITLS/PHTLS preferred
• NREMT-P may be required in assigned area

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within required time frames.
• Perform base checks daily, including narcotics count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from first contact to handoff, with meticulous documentation.
• Maintain competency through ongoing lab and clinical experiences.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, CE, safety, and procedural documentation as required.
