Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Flight Paramedic to transport patients by air and perform scene call work. You will deliver advanced life support and coordinate care from initial contact through hand-off to receiving facilities.

Qualified candidates have at least 3 years in a911/critical care, EMT-P license, and certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP with FP-C target within 24 months. GEO modification adds $4.17/hr to base pay, with starting rates around $20.92/hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a911 or critical care setting required.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) within 24 months from date of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within required timeframes.
• Perform daily base checks including narcotic counts.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from first contact to hand-off.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, and continuing education records.
• Ensure safety of self, crew, patient, and equipment prior to liftoff.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and debriefings and complete documentation.
• Assist with pre-mission liftoff checklists and pilot assistance as needed.
