Job summary

Waltzing Matilda Aviation is seeking an Operations Coordinator to manage day-to-day Bedford-based operations and coordinate international and domestic trips. You will report to the Director of Operations and work with the Chief Pilot, Maintenance, and Sales teams to ensure smooth client experiences.

The role requires familiarity with Part 91/135 regulations, 2+ years in charter ops, and proficiency with JetInsight or similar scheduling software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Part 135/91 charter or corporate flight ops.
• Working knowledge of Part 135 duty/rest rules.
• Experience with flight scheduling software.
• Calm, clear communication under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Customer-service mindset for high-expectation clients.
• Ability to cover a shared on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage trips in JetInsight; assign aircraft and crew.
• Schedule crew within 135 flight, duty, rest limits; track currency.
• Coordinate FBOs, fuel, catering, transport, hotels, crew logistics.
• Support flight following and dispatch under ops control procedures.
• Arrange international trip support, permits, customs, handling.
• Act as a point of contact for clients and aircraft owners.
• Coordinate with Maintenance on availability and downtime.
• Maintain trip records and assist post-trip billing.
• Support compliance programs and on-call coverage.
