Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Space Sector in Magna, UT seeks a Flight Inspector at Level 2 or 3 to perform dimensional inspections on parts and assemblies in a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off. This onsite role requires global quality standards and the ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include inspections using SMI tools, process assessments, and reviewing drawings and specs. Candidates must be able to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of related experience (Level 2).
• Ability to obtain/maintain US Secret clearance.
• Experience with government contractors.
• Knowledge of GD&T and standard measuring instruments.
• Strong math and trigonometry skills.
• Experience with ISO 9000/AS9100 and PES.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, in-process and final inspections on tight tolerance parts and assemblies.
• Conduct quality process assessments and use standard measurement instruments.
• Interpret drawings and specifications per procedures.
• Work shift, including weekends/holidays/overtime as required.
