Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Utah Magna is seeking an Inspector to perform dimensional inspections on tightly tolerance parts, subassemblies and final assemblies in the production area. You will interpret drawings, apply GD&T, and use SMI tools to verify conformance.

The role requires handling ISO 9000/AS9100 quality systems, working shifts including overtime, and maintaining Employee Possessor status under the SEA. A strong math background and MS Office skills are needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, in-process and final dimensional inspections on tightly tolerance part parts, subassemblies and final assemblies in the production area.
• Perform Quality Process Assessments.
• Performs required inspections in accordance with procedures and planning documentation.
• Performs required inspections using standard measurement instruments.
• Must be able to work shift work, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
• Able to acquire and maintain Employee Possessor (EP) status under the Safe Explosives Act (SEA).
• Other duties as assigned
