Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Flight Inspector at Level 2 or Level 3 to perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on spacecraft components. You will interpret drawings, plan inspections, and use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs to verify quality.

This on-site role requires US citizenship and includes shift work (2:30pm–12am) with potential overtime and a discretionary bonus depending on performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus related experience (Level 2: 2 years; Level 3: 4 years).
• Experience using measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, gages, and related inspection tools.
• US Citizenship is required to start.

Responsibilities

• Inspect visually, dimensionally, and functionally on spacecraft components and assemblies.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure conformance with quality requirements.
• Use measuring devices and CMMs to perform inspections and tests.
• Decide acceptance or rejection of work and tests performed.
• Work in a cleanroom environment and on 2nd shift (2:30pm–12am).
