Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Flight Inspector at Level 2 or Level 3 to join our Magna, Utah team. The position is 100% onsite with a 9/80 schedule, every other Friday off. You will perform dimensional inspections on complex parts and subassemblies, ensuring conformance to drawings and specifications.

The role requires GD&T knowledge, experience with ISO 9000/AS9100 and continuous improvement skills, with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Experience with government contractors and GD&T.
• Familiarity with ISO 9000/AS9100 quality systems and PES continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, in-process and final dimensional inspections on tight tolerance parts and assemblies.
• Perform quality process assessments and inspections per procedures and planning.
• Use standard measurement instruments to perform inspections.
• Work shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
• Maintain EP status under the SEA as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
