Job summary

Auburn University is seeking a dispatch/flight operations assistant to coordinate the daily training schedule for aircraft, simulators, and ground lessons. You will ensure accurate status in the system and collaborate with maintenance to keep aircraft available.

This on-site role requires clear radio communication, strong organization, and comfort in a fast-paced environment. Some Saturdays may be required, with early hours and extended coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Clear verbal communication skills for radio and coordination.
• Strong organization to handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with iOS and Microsoft Office is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch training flights, simulators, and ground lessons per the daily schedule.
• Assign resources to support flight training operations.
• Maintain accurate aircraft status in the management system.
• Work with maintenance staff to ensure aircraft availability.
• Assist in inventory tracking of training materials and supplies.
• Support student records management and related duties.
• Schedule aircraft fueling with the airport.
• Assist with Saturday flight shuttle as needed.
