Job summary

You will also arrange accommodations during delays, support gate planning, and ensure weight and balance recommendations comply with airline requirements, while meeting attendance standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Airport Dispatch experience preferred.
• Must possess/maintain a valid state driver's license and FAA/airport identifications.
• Must pass SIDA airport and training tests.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Distribute incoming air traffic information to pilots and ground handlers.
• Follow up with update information and communicate flight release and fuel load details.
• Maintain lines of communication with operations and air carriers via two-way radios.
• Coordinate operations with the airline and ground handlers.
• Maintain flight logs and update flight schedules.
• Coordinate with billing departments and compile information for billing.
• Arrange accommodation when delays occur and handle phone traffic.
• Assist in gate assignment planning and control.
• Assist with passenger services as required.
• Recommend weight and balance preparation per airline requirements.
• Meet the station's attendance standards.
