Job summary

Skyborne Airline Academy in the United States (Vero Beach, FL) is seeking an OCC Operations role to manage daily flight scheduling, aircraft dispatch, and coordination among instructors, trainees, and maintenance. You will ensure compliance with FAA regulations and safety procedures in a fast-paced training environment.

The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt to changing schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related aviation/operations experience preferred.
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate, Airplane Single-Engine Land, and current FAA CFI-A Certificate preferred; multi-engine and instrument qualifications advantageous.
• Working knowledge of aviation weather, NOTAMs, TFRs, FAA regulations, and flight-training operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn company scheduling, dispatch, and training-management software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in OCC crew briefings and shift handovers; monitor weather, aircraft status, staffing, and training priorities.
• Create and distribute the daily master flight schedule balancing instructor and trainee availability.
• Dispatch and release Academy aircraft and training devices per OCC procedures; verify flight details and documentation.
• Monitor flights and conditions; communicate delays, cancellations, or diversions as needed.
• Coordinate with instructors, maintenance, and flight line to ensure aircraft are ready for training.
• Support safe ramp operations and maintain accurate OCC records and forms.
