Job summary

Belk is seeking a Support Flex Associate in Kill Devil Hills, NC. This hourly position delivers a positive customer experience by processing inbound truck deliveries, stocking floors, and supporting merchandising and store fulfillment teams.

You will unload deliveries, apply sensor tags, assist with facilities, and ensure inventory accuracy while helping on floor sets and pricing during peak times. Benefits and growth opportunities accompany the role.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership and initiative in achieving personal goals, store objectives, and daily priorities.
• Unload cartons from truck deliveries, separate by department, process, remove plastic, and hang items for sales floor readiness.
• Complete sensor tag application, product transfers, damage processing, and RFID tasks for inventory accuracy.
• Assist with facilities processes including lighting, recycling, work orders, store maintenance and housekeeping.
• Support merchandising and store fulfillment with floor sets, product presentations, promotions, pricing changes, and order picking/packing.
• Replenish supplies, support store recovery, organize and store tools and equipment for efficiency.
• Leverage training tools and feedback to improve operational knowledge and performance; stay informed on products, promotions, policies, and store events.
• Enhance in-store customer experience by assisting customers, supporting peak traffic, and completing assigned tasks.
• Contribute to a positive store culture by sharing knowledge and celebrating team achievements.
• Follow asset protection procedures, safety guidelines, and security protocols to minimize risk.
