Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to help students overcome communication challenges within educational settings. You will evaluate needs, communicate findings, and develop targeted interventions in collaboration with the ARD committee.

The role involves delivering therapy or supervising assistants, monitoring progress, and advocating for students' access to education. Texas licensure and CCC-SLP certification are required or strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCC-SLP credential required.
• Active license to practice as an SLP in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate needs by conducting comprehensive speech-language evaluations.
• Communicate findings to parents and district personnel with clarity and empathy.
• Develop evidence-based therapeutic interventions with ARD committee involvement.
• Provide therapy directly or supervise assistants to implement IEP goals.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Participate in ARD meetings and other discussions to support student education.
