Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support students under the supervision of a licensed SLP. You will assist in evaluation, implement therapy plans, manage AAC devices, collect data, and participate in IEP discussions.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology, valid Texas licensure, current CPR certification, and bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Valid licensure as an Assistant in Speech-Language Pathology by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
• Current CPR certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation and intervention for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
• Implement therapy activities and plans designed by the supervising SLP.
• Monitor and support AAC devices for students.
• Record and document student progress and outcomes for IEP goals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to advocate for students’ communication needs.
