Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to help students overcome communication challenges within their educational setting. You will evaluate needs, share findings with parents and district personnel, and collaborate with the ARD committee to plan targeted interventions.

You may deliver therapy directly or supervise assistants, monitor progress, and participate in ARD meetings and parent conferences.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Texas SLP license.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate needs: conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students' needs for therapy services.
• Communicate findings: share evaluation results with parents and district personnel clearly and compassionately.
• Develop interventions: collaborate with ARD committee to create targeted interventions to enhance student performance and access to education.
• Provide therapy: deliver therapy services directly or supervise SLP Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor progress: maintain detailed records of student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Support team: participate in ARD meetings and parent conferences to advocate for students' special education programs.
