Job summary

Belk is hiring a Support Flex Associate to drive sales and deliver a positive customer experience by processing inbound truck deliveries and preparing new merchandise for the floor. You will support back-of-house operations, assist with floor sets, and collaborate with merchandising teams to keep products ready for customers.

The role is hourly and requires a mix of lifting, standing, and walking throughout shifts, with opportunities to grow through store programs and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to move around store areas and assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership and initiative in achieving goals and store objectives.
• Unload cartons from truck deliveries and prepare products for the sales floor.
• Apply sensor tags, transfer products, process damages, and support RFID tasks.
• Assist with facilities processes and store maintenance.
• Support floor sets, product presentations, and price changes.
• Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Learn and apply operational processes and store policies.
• Enhance in-store customer experience by helping customers during peak times.
