Nurse Next Door is seeking compassionate home care aides in California to support seniors in their homes. We offer flexible hours ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week, with shifts in mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnights.

No prior experience is required, and all affiliated aides must meet state registration and background check requirements. As a Home Care Aide, you will follow care plans, support ADLs, assist with daily living tasks, and provide companionship.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current registration with the California Home Care Aide Registry.
• Completion of a criminal background check and disclosure of any criminal history.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.

Responsabilités

• Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Help clients with ADLs within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide.
• Assist with personal hygiene and dressing.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and mobility.
• Assist with prescribed exercises taught by health personnel.
• Meal planning/therapy diets and assisting with eating.
• Assist clients to bathroom facilities and handle incontinence care.
• Perform household tasks, errands, and companionship.
• Record hours worked and report changes to the administrator.
• Drive to appointments or run errands as needed.
