Job summary

Nurse Next Door in California is hiring compassionate Home Care Aides to help seniors stay in their homes with dignity and comfort. No experience is required, and you can choose 10–40 hours per week with flexible shifts across mornings, afternoons, evenings and overnights.

As a Home Care Aide, you will follow care plans, assist with ADLs, provide companionship, and support clients by driving to appointments and completing records. Paid training is provided, and registration help is available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Current California Home Care Aide Registry registration.
• Criminal background check completed and no active tuberculosis.
• Entry-level training completed or plan to complete prior to client care.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care.

Responsibilities

• Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Assist with activities of daily living within scope of practice.
• Support personal hygiene and grooming for clients.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and ambulation.
• Help with prescribed exercises and meal planning.
• Record shifts and times accurately; drive to appointments as needed.
