Job summary

Nurse Next Door in California is seeking compassionate Home Care Aides to support seniors at home with nonmedical services. Positions offer flexible hours from 10 to 40 hours per week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings and overnights, with part-time and full-time options.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Current registration with the California Home Care Aide Registry or able to obtain one
• Criminal background check cleared and CA regulatory compliant
• Ability to complete required trainings and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Follow the client's care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Assist with ADLs and personal hygiene tasks.
• Support transfers, positioning, and safe ambulation.
• Assist with prescribed exercises and meal planning.
• Provide household assistance and companionship.
• Remind with medications as directed and report changes.
