Job summary

Jackson Square Animal Clinic is seeking a Client Service Representative to provide compassionate, professional service to clients and their pets. The CSR will manage check-in/out, phone/email communications, and appointment coordination while supporting clinicians and maintaining accurate records.

The role requires a high school diploma, comfort with basic computer systems and practice management software, and the ability to perform cash handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with animals and veterinary background is valued.
• Basic computer proficiency, including practice management software and MS Office.
• Accurate data entry and record-keeping are essential.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients warmly with professional, empathetic service.
• Check-in/out patients and liaise with hospital staff on status and flow.
• Maintain client communications via phone, email, and mail; follow up as needed.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; triage patients by urgency.
• Explain services, vaccinations, diagnostics, and aftercare clearly to clients.
• Handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate patient records and process charges and payments.
• Assist with product sales and inventory management.
• Support clinicians and Practice Manager with administrative tasks.
• Ensure a clean, safe hospital environment and participate in opening/closing duties.
