VCA Animal Hospitals is seeking an experienced Client Service Professional to join our team. The role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care and top-tier client service, handling administrative tasks, and managing client finances in a fast-paced veterinary setting.

The ideal candidate will be personable, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking, with a friendly demeanor toward animals and people. Open availability and a proactive attitude are important for success.

Responsibilities

• Customer service functions, including greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
• Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care.
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
• Hospital maintenance and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times—inside and outside.

We are seeking an experienced Client Service Professional to join our team. We’re looking for a personable yet highly professional “service extraordinaire” to join us in delivering exceptional care, who has open availability and is eager to work. A Client Service Representative performs a wide range of administrative activities related to quality patient care and excellent client service, management of client finances and accounting, The applicant must be a reliable self-starter, motivated by a challenging, fast-paced environment. Strong candidates will have veterinary experience, a positive attitude, a friendly demeanor towards both animals and people, will be detail oriented, have the ability to multi-task and can demonstrate the importance and understanding of high quality customer service.

• Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
• Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside.
