Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Associate to help keep the community grounds and amenities in top condition. You will support the service team, perform make-ready tasks, and ensure safety standards are met while delivering strong resident service.

The role requires walking/standing, ability to lift up to 25 pounds (50 with assistance), a valid driver’s license for golf cart operation, and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with assistance.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must have valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the community daily to keep common areas tidy and litter-free.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments and support the make-ready process.
• Complete routine service requests and assist the make-ready specialist.
• Change locks and ensure pool area gates function per code and safety standards.
• Distribute notices to residents as needed and communicate with the team.
• Report hazards or potentially dangerous conditions to supervisors.
• Provide courteous customer service to residents and handle complaints professionally.
• Attend safety meetings and required OSHA training; comply with safety policies.
