Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Physical Therapist (Flex/Per Diem) to evaluate patient needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy services in accordance with established plans. You will collaborate with physicians and care teams, supervise PT Assistants, and provide care to adult and geriatric patients while upholding Mercy standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice
• Current BLS certification (must be obtained prior to independently caring for patients)
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patient needs to develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide physical therapy services in accordance with established treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Supervise and provide direction to Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehabilitation Aides/Technicians
• Deliver high-quality care to adult and geriatric patient populations
• Ensure compliance with departmental standards, state practice acts, and Mercy Service Standards
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered care environment
